Along with these public facilities, Edina also has three private institutions: Our Lady Grace (a catholic school), St. Peters Lutheran School, and Calvin Christian School. Edina's public park area totals more than 1,550 acres. With thirty nine parks and numerous other facilities such as public golf courses, ice arenas, an art center, and more, there are always opportunities for outdoor and indoor recreation for youth and adults alike.
